Vennbahn. A scenic cycling journey through three countries

The Vennbahn is a 125-kilometer-long cycle path that traverses three countries: Germany, Belgium and Luxembourg. Established on a former railway line, it offers a mostly flat and smooth ride, making it suitable for cyclists of all levels. The route begins in Aachen, Germany, and passes through picturesque landscapes, including the High Fens (Hohes Venn) nature reserve, dense forests, and charming medieval towns such as Monschau and St. Vith. Cyclists can enjoy attractions like the Pottery Museum in Raeren and the historical town center of Kornelimünster. The trail concludes in Troisvierges, Luxembourg, providing a unique opportunity to experience the diverse cultures and sceneries of three European countries in a single journey.
